Absolute Engineering

At Grind Master, we follow the tenets of Absolute Engineering. A concept of our making, it represents engineering that is without imperfections, doubts, or limitations. But its extent goes beyond the context of technical rigor. Absolute Engineering covers every aspect of design and production with complete precision. It is comprehensive in nature and inclusive in approach, integrating a broad organizational focus.
It denotes concerted efforts across departments, synergizing all processes toward high standards in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). For customers, Absolute Engineering delivers products that meet exact specifications with clear, dependable results.

R&D

Grind Master’s dedicated team, led by Sameer and Milind Kelkar, focuses on research in NANOFINISH and METALFINISH processes. With a proven track record in developing processes for a wide range of global applications, Grind Master operates a specialized setup that includes a Metrology Lab with advanced equipment such as Geometry Testers, Surface Finish Measurement Devices. The lab also houses 10 Lab Finishing/Deburring machines to test various components, along with prototyping support for OEMs.

Engineering Capability

Advanced CAD/CAM Tools

For high-precision design and engineering – Solid Edge, Eplan and AutoCAD
Analysis Software
For testing and validating new machine designs before production – FEA and CAM Programming Tools

Control Software Platforms

For engineering user-friendly IOT-enabled machine controls with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley. The Grind Master proprietory NANOSMART control platfrom is an ideal custom build software for finishing machine.

Metrology Lab

Our Metrology Lab ensures that all our innovations meet the highest calibration standards. Equipped with advanced measuring instruments, the lab is critical for validating surface finishes, dimensions, and tolerances of components across different industries.

Process Research Lab

Grind Master’s Process Research Lab is dedicated to meeting customer needs for advanced part finishing. Customers provide their parts, often with strict finish requirements, due to advances in automotive engineering.
To achieve these results, the lab develops and patents custom tools and consumables that shape the process. Each process is created based on the required finish and the customer’s cycle time demands. For instance, a steering rack may need a 45-second cycle in India but only 15 seconds in Germany. The lab designs the necessary tools and processes, whether single or multi-step, to meet these exact needs.
