Machine Assembly and Testing
Grind Master’s Machine Assembly and Testing facility operates in a dust-free facility engineered for machine construction. It includes a clean-room environment focusing on high-precision mechanical units such as spindles and superfinishing units. The facility also includes the capability to assemble electrical control cabinets in-house. An MQR (Machine Quality Review) is conducted before the units are integrated into the machines. This rigorous inspection method ensures high quality.
Advanced alignment techniques, including laser technology, are used to ensure the precision of the final machine assembly. Machine control software, developed by Grind Master’s team of control engineers, is built on a customized proprietary framework designed for finishing machines.
Parts Manufacturing
Our in-house manufacturing unit, with over 20 CNC machining centers, including Double Column VMC, Precision VMC, CNC Lathes, and Grinding machines, allows us to maintain complete control over part production. We produce high-precision parts internally to meet exact specifications. This gives us greater accuracy and control over delivery timelines. Every component manufactured by Grind Master or supply chain goes through rigorous inspection. The final part of preparation and painting are conducted internally to ensure uniformity and quality in aesthetics.
Grind Master’s 6-Gate Approach
Grind Master follows a 6-gate process to maintain precision and quality throughout machine manufacturing. The process includes multiple sub-steps within every gate, and clearing the gate requires fully completing these steps. This approach ensures the project progresses smoothly, with all tasks addressed before moving to the next stage.

Engineering Release
The process begins with a kickoff meeting and moves through engineering phases such as simultaneous engineering, internal & external design approvals, and manufacturing & peer reviews. Accuracy is the focus, and our system ensures it at every step.
Parts Procurement
A typical microfinishing machine consists of over 1,500 parts. We use D365 ERP, a vendor portal, and planning tools backed by strict inspection standards and efficient storage protocols to maintain quality.
Execution
The assembly follows a clear plan with Machine Quality Records (MQR), and each machine undergoes independent inspections, endurance tests, and documentation reviews for our peace of mind that the final piece that leaves our premises is free of flaws.
Installation and Commissioning
Proper planning guides the installation and commissioning process. We use checklists, daily reports, quick feedback loops, and operator training to make the setup smooth and efficient.
Improvements
Our service team provides long-term support, assisting operators, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and offering retools, upgrades, and spares. Feedback is gathered throughout the machine’s lifecycle to drive improvements.

Process Research Lab
Grind Master’s Process Research Lab is dedicated to meeting customer needs for advanced part finishing. Customers provide their parts, often with strict finish requirements, due to advances in engineering. To achieve these results, the lab develops and patents custom tools, processes, and software. Each process is created based on the required finish and the customer’s cycle time demands. The Process Research Lab is complemented by a metrology lab wherein surface finish and geometry measurement systems validate both the raw and finished parts.
